  1.      How is this Motor Powered? – Motorized window shades/blinds are solar powered, battery powered and plug-in or wired.  Each option has its own benefits, preference and size of the window coverings are the main factors that would dictate you to choose one over the other options.  Battery powered motors – is the least expensive of the three motorized options, you don’t need to worry about wiring and electrical costs.

  1.      What Kind of Customer Support You can get if you’re having trouble – Obviously, quality customer service is very important as you may need to interact with customer service with regards to your motorized blinds to ensure that the proper support is there to meet your needs.

How to Choose The Perfect Awning for your Desert Patio

April is going to be warmer in the Valley of the Sun. We all know that awnings are both functional, it allows you to use your outdoor space smartly,  and it’s decorative and can add exceptional beauty to your home. Stuck at work and no time for outdoor activities? You can still enjoy the sunny skies and crisp air right in your deck or patio while spring lasts. You can also impress your relatives coming over for spring break by installing the perfect awning that will complement your home.

Getting an awning installed is also worth considering in preparation for the hot summer weather. Before you make an appointment for your awnings installation, picking the perfect awnings might not be easy. It’s important to consider these three factors: (1) location, (2) material used and (3) style. First, decide where to install your awnings. You can place it in your patio, deck or window to get the needed shade. Second, consider carefully the right materials for your awning. At All Pro Shade Concepts, we only use Sunbrella fabric which is the best rated fabric for the harsh summer sun we get in Phoenix.

Also, don’t forget choose an awning that can complement your home’s color or architectural design. Depending on what part of the valley you live in, many communities in Gilbert, Chandler, Glendale, North Phoenix and Scottsdale have HOA’s that also limit what colors you can use, especially if it will be visible from the street.

Polish the look of your outdoor space and at the same time protecting your outdoor furniture by installing awnings on it.
