- Live in an eligible home, including a single-family detached or attached home, mobile home, apartment, or condo.
- Install new or refurbished qualifying shade screens through a licensed contractor or as a DIY project by April 30, 2027.
- Choose screens that block at least 80% of solar heat gain on sunstruck west-, south-, or east-facing windows.
- Install screens on the exterior of clear-glass windows that enclose an air-conditioned space.
- Meet added requirements for motorized or retractable shade structures. They only qualify with photocell solar sensor equipment.
- Submit the rebate within six months of installation.

- Keep your paid-in-full invoice and the project information SRP requires, including the installation date, eligible screen square footage, window direction, screen specifications, and project cost.
- Submit the rebate application online or by mail.
- Submit everything within six months of installation.
